To start the tutorial, you create the first part—half of the
hinge.

models are composed of features; you create a part by combining features. This
portion of the hinge is composed of the following features:
A cube—the base feature, since it is the first feature of the part.
A flange that extends from the cube. The flange also includes a
large-diameter hole through which the pin is inserted.
A small lubrication hole in one corner of the flange.
