Suppressing a Component from a Task Plan

You can suppress a component from executing in a task plan. The component is still available for use at a later time.

You can also delete a component permanently from the task plan as described in Deleting a Component from a Task Plan.

  1. From the Design Gateway, select a model that contains a task plan.
  2. Double-click the Task component icon.
  3. From the Task Plan Execution list, select the component that you want to remove.
  4. Click the button to remove a component from the simulation process flow.

    Isight moves the component from the Task Plan Execution list to the Available Components list.

    The component is still available for use, and it can be added to the simulation process flow at any time.

  5. If desired, you can confirm that the component was removed by clicking the Model View subtab.
  6. Click OK to save your changes and to close the Task Component Editor.
