Filtering Large Data Sets in the Runtime Gateway

If you are working with a model with a large data set that exceeds the limit you set on the number of runs held in memory (and, hence, displayed in rows in the Runtime Gateway), you can override this limit.

For information about limiting the number of runs held in memory, see Setting Filtering Results Preferences.

  1. From the Runtime Gateway Parameters tab, click the button next to the Data Filters button near the bottom of the tab to change the number of rows that are currently displayed.

Note: The button is available only when you have specified a data limit and the number of runs exceeds this limit.

The Data Filtered dialog box appears, showing you how many rows have been discarded.

  2. If desired, change the value in the Data Filtered dialog box.

If the job is not running, Isight automatically unloads and reloads the job.

If the job is running, Isight begins discarding the oldest rows once the data reach the new limit. If the new limit is less than the number of data rows already displayed, the limit will not take effect until the next job is started.

  3. Click OK to close the Data Filtered dialog box and to save your changes.
