Overview of the Parameter File

Using Tosca Fluid.gui or a text editor you can define the optimization problem.

The individual parts of an optimization problem definition are:

  1. CFD model to use for the optimization
  2. Definition of the group of design cells
  3. Design response for a flow path (inflow - outflow combination)
  4. Objective function
  5. Optimization parameters
  6. Requested runtime result output (optional)
  7. Stop condition (number of iterations)
