Creating an Environment Variable

You can create an environment variable that has read and write permissions for all SIMULIA Execution Engine users.

  1. Select Start > Control Panel > System and Security > System > Advanced system settings.
  2. Click Environment Variables, and then click New under User variables.
    1. In the Variable name text box, enter

      FIPER_TEMP

    2. In the Variable value box, enter a value such as the following:

      C:\SIMULIA\StationTemp\2024

  3. Give read and write permission to all SIMULIA Execution Engine users.
  4. Click OK, and close the Control Panel.
  5. Restart the computer.
