For most materials and only proportional loading, PEMAG is equal to Equivalent Plastic Strain (PEEQ). It is available only with Abaqus sensitivities.

Remarks

  1. Only elements of the element group (EL_GROUP) are applied in the calculation of the plastic strain magnitude.
  2. PEMAG as a design response needs a plastic material property to work. If no such property is defined, Tosca Structure exits with an error.
