Required parameters

EVOLUTION TYPE

Set EVOLUTION TYPE=HISTORY if each input file after the first input file (which defines the model) defines the steps forming a nonlinear load case.

Optional parameters

BASE STATE

Set BASE STATE=NO (default) if the base state used for each nonlinear load case is the initial state of the model. Steps included in the first input file form the first nonlinear load case.

Set BASE STATE=YES if steps defined in the first input file lead to the base state used for each nonlinear load case.

MODEL CHANGE

Include this parameter if element removal or reactivation occurs during any nonlinear load case.

RESULTS

Set RESULTS=APPEND (default) to create a single set of output database files that contains results for the entire analysis.

Set RESULTS=NEW to create separate output database files for each input file.

ZERO INCREMENT

Set ZERO INCREMENT=YES (default) to write output to the output database for the zero increment of the first step of each nonlinear load case.

Set ZERO INCREMENT=NO to specify that output to the output database should not be written for the zero increment of the first step of each nonlinear load case.

Data lines to define the input files associated with a multiple nonlinear load case analysis

First line
  1. Name of the input file containing the model and optional steps defining the base state or first nonlinear load case.

Repeat this data line as often as necessary to define the input files containing each nonlinear load case. Only one file name may appear on each data line.
