Display the substructure load editor using one of the following
methods:
-
To create a new substructure load, follow the procedure outlined
in
Creating loads
(Category: Mechanical ;
Types for Selected Step: Substructure
load ).
-
To edit an existing substructure load using menus or managers, see
Editing step-dependent objects.
-
Do the following:
-
Click
to open the Select Substructure Load
Cases dialog box.
-
Toggle on check boxes for each substructure load case that you
want to activate.
-
Click OK to close the Select
Substructure Load Cases dialog box.
-
In the Magnitude multiplier text field, enter the
value by which you want to scale the specified substructure load case loads and
boundary conditions. The default value is 1.0, which provides no scaling. You
can enter only real values for the magnitude multiplier. To specify complex
values, you must use the Keywords Editor, as described in
Adding unsupported keywords to your Abaqus/CAE model.
-
If desired, click the arrow to the right of the
Amplitude field, and select the amplitude of your choice
from the list that appears. Alternatively, you can click
to create a new amplitude. (See
The Amplitude toolset
for more information.)
-
Click OK to save your data and to exit the
editor.
