The
CAD Connection toolset
is used by the optional add-on associative interfaces for
Abaqus/CAE
to create a connection from
Abaqus/CAE
to another CAD system.
You can use the CAD system to modify a model or to change its
position, and you can use the established connection to update the model
quickly in
Abaqus/CAE.
You can also modify some geometric features in
Abaqus/CAE
and use the CAD connection to update the original CAD system model.
