Manually Deleting Parameters and File Parameters

You can manually delete parameters and file parameters that are no longer needed in a model.

  1. From the Design Gateway, select a model.
  2. Select the component that contains the parameter that you want to delete.
  3. Click the Parameters or Files tab, and select the parameter that you want to delete.

    Note: To select multiple parameters, use the CTRL or SHIFT keys.

  4. Perform one of the following actions:

    • Click Delete on the right side of the tab.

    • Right-click the parameter that you want to remove, and select Delete Selected.

    Tip: You can also delete a parameter or file parameter from the Mappings subtab by right-clicking the parameter or file parameter that you want to delete, and clicking Delete.

  5. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
  6. Save the model, if desired.
