Define Allowed Values on the Parameters Tab

From the Design Gateway,
select a model.

Select the component that contains the parameter that you want to edit.

Click the Parameters tab, and select the parameter
that you want to edit.

Define the type of allowed value that you want to define for the
parameter:
Option | Description |
---|
Continuous Range | Enter the desired expression using the symbols “<”, “<=”,
“>”, “>=”, separated by “;” (e.g., “5<;<=8”) (defines lower and/or upper
bounds). |
---|
Discrete Set | Enter the desired values separated by “;”. |

Define Allowed Values Using the Defined Allowed Values Dialog Box

From the Design Gateway,
select a model.

Select the component that contains the parameter that you want to edit.

Click the Parameters tab, and select the parameter
that you want to edit.

Click
that appears when you click in the Allowed
Values cell.
In the Type list, select the type of allowed
value that you want to define for the parameter:

Continuous Range - Enter a numeric value in the left and right boxes.
- Using the
button, determine whether or not the bound also allows
equality.
- Click OK to save your changes and to close the
Defined Allowed Values dialog box.
