Encapsulating by Selecting Components

You can select a component or multiple components in the model explorer or on the Sim-flow tab to encapsulate the components.

  1. From the Design Gateway, select a model.
  2. On the Sim-flow tab, select the component or components that you want to encapsulate.
  3. From the Edit menu, select Encapsulate.

    The Root Component Selection dialog box appears.

  4. Select the process component that you want to contain the existing component or components.
  5. Click OK to close the Root Component Selection dialog box.

    Isight adds the new process component into the simulation process flow, and the existing component or components are moved within the new component.
