Adding the Sizing Weights Component and Configuring the Executable

The next step is to add another Simcode component that reads information about the aircraft and to tell Isight how to run the necessary executable file.

  1. Add another Simcode component after the Calculator component.

    Isight adds the component to the parallel simulation process flow as shown below:

  2. Rename the Simcode component to Sizing Weights.
  3. Double-click the Sizing Weights Simcode component, and select the program to execute. You should select <Isight_install_directory>\<operating_system>\examples\models\simcodes\bin\<operating_system>\weights.exe.
    You are returned to the Simcode Component Editor, and the full path of the program is entered into the field.
  4. Click Apply to save your changes to the component.
