Setting Delimiters

You can specify the characters used in an output parse to separate words. The Fast Parser supports spaces, tabs, and commas.

  1. Double-click the Fast Parser component icon .
    The Fast Parser Component Editor appears.
  2. From the Fast Parser Component Editor, place the cursor at the location where you want to begin using the delimiter.
  3. Click the button.

    The Edit Delimiter dialog box appears.

  4. Click the delimiter that you want to use (Spaces, Tabs, Commas).
    1. Click OK.

      Isight adds the delimiter command to the file.

    2. Click OK to save your delimiters and to return to the Fast Parser Component Editor.
  5. If desired, select the delimiter, and click the button to delete it.
  6. Click OK to save your changes and to close the Fast Parser Component Editor.
