Setting Exploration Component Preferences

You can control which strategy the Exploration component uses each time you first open it. The Exploration component includes the Approximation Loop strategy by default.

In addition, you can add your own strategy through a plug-in. For information about adding a strategy, contact your SIMULIA representative.

  1. From the Isight Design Gateway Edit menu, select Preferences.

    The Preferences dialog box appears.

  2. Expand the Components folder on the left side of the dialog box, and select Exploration.
  3. In the Default Strategy list, select the strategy that will be selected each time you create a new Exploration component.
  4. Click OK to save your changes and to close the dialog box.
