Translating ANSYS data to Abaqus input files

The abaqus fromansys translator supports additional elements.

This functionality is first available in the Abaqus 2022 FD02 (FP.2214) release.

The abaqus fromansys translator now supports the following ANSYS elements:

  • COMBIN39
  • CONTA175
  • MPC184
  • PRETS179

The ability to translate very large models and an increase in the speed of translation improve the usability of the abaqus fromansys translator.
