Renaming the Component

You can rename the component; for example, to make the function of the component more obvious or to help you more easily remember the purpose of the component. This step is optional and does not affect the execution or the model.

  1. Right-click the Simcode icon in the simulation process flow.

    A menu appears.

  2. Click Rename.

    The Rename Component dialog box appears.



  3. Type Aeroarg in the text box, and click OK.

    You are returned to the Design Gateway, and the new name now appears below the component, in the component title bar (immediately above the simulation process flow canvas), and in the model explorer on the left side of the interface.
