Configuring the Fractional Factorial Technique

You can configure the Fractional Factorial technique options.

  1. Double-click the Six Sigma component icon .
    The Six Sigma Component Editor appears.
  2. From the General tab's Analysis Type list select Design of Experiments, and from the Technique list select Fractional Factorial.
  3. From the Technique Options area, select one of the following:
    OptionDescription
    Two Level Designs Forces all existing/selected factors to have two levels. This is the default.
    Three Level Designs Forces all factors to have three levels. The default fraction with the lowest number of runs is used.
  4. Click OK to save your changes and to close the Six Sigma Component Editor.
