- Double-click the Data Exchanger component icon
.The Data Exchanger Component Editor appears. -
From the Data Exchanger Component Editor, select
a Table format section.

Right-click in the white area of the Data Source
area, and select Edit Section details.
The Edit Section Format dialog for a Table
format appears.

Click the Fixed Columns tab.

Enter the column boundaries in the text box.
The numbers are the character position on which each column ends.
Column 1 | Characters 1 through 5 | Column 2 | Characters 6 through 10 | Column 3 | Characters 11 through 15 | Column 4 | Characters 16 through 20 |
For example, entering the following text creates four columns, each five characters
wide:
5, 10, 15, 20

Click OK to save your changes and to close the
dialog box.
