Setting Component Preferences

Some components have custom default options for specific settings. For information on setting these options, refer to the component sections in the Isight Component Guide. There is one global setting that allows you to specify when a new version of a component or plug-in that has been published to the library is used.

  1. From the Design Gateway Edit menu, select Preferences.
  2. On the left side of the dialog box, select Components.

    The General Component and Plug-in Preferences dialog box appears.

  3. Select when a new version of a component or plug-in that has been added to the library will be used by Isight:

    • Use new version on next restart (recommended).

    • Use new version on next model load or execution.

  4. Click OK to save your changes and to close the Preferences dialog box.
